The Whigs are one of my fave bands and “Hot Bed” one of my all time fave songs!
They have a new album out called “Enjoy the Company”. It’s their 4th album and it’s really fantastic as all their other albums!
They are still touring in January. If they are playing close to you go check them out. I garentee they won’t disappoint!

Tune(s) of the Day – The Whigs
The Whigs are streaming their upcoming album “Enjoy The Company” on Paste.
Athens, Ga. power trio The Whigs will be releasing their fourth full-length album, Enjoy the Company, on Sept. 18. It will be the band’s first release since their 2010 LP, In the Dark. The 10-track album was produced by John Agnello (Drive-By Truckers, The Hold Steady, Sonic Youth) and will mark the band’s New West Records debut. Their previous three albums, beginning with 2005’s Give ’Em All a Big Fat Lip, were released on ATO. The band already gave fans a taste of what to expect from Enjoy the Company with “Summer Heat,” and now we have the entire album available for your streaming pleasure, a week before its official release. Have a listen below.
