Two peas in a pod

My daughter Megan and Hummer (our tom cat) are for sure best friends. I don’t know of any other cat who enjoys being carried up the slide steps and then pushed down the slide or get tucked in the doll carriage and pushed around for an hour, hitting the doorsteps through the house making the carriage bump and jump and not even try to escape. He sleeps in Meg’s bed every night and sunbathes on the trampoline while she jumps around on it. Hummer has a heart of gold and adores his little human friend.

Today Meg and I took the dog and went for a walk and 10 minutes from the house we discovered that Hummer was following us, we were going into town along the road so Megan started whining for me to take him back to the house so he wouldn’t get hit by a car. Least to say I had a bit of a detour bringing the cat back home before we could get on our way.

Here are some shots I took tonight in the garden of the two of them chillin and playing on the trampoline.

This first shot I just adore, it tells the affection Megan and Hummer have for each other. So cute!

and as you might be able to tell Hummer is totally relaxed, enjoying all the attention he can get from his two legged bestie!
